Referring to the appointment of

Mr. 0. Chadwick as Consulting Engineer to this Government

on Waterworks and Drainage matters, I have the honour to

state that, as the larger works in this connection are now

completed or are approaching completion, the services of a

Consulting Engineer will not be required after the close

of the present year.
